Two in five of the surveyed men felt women who step outdoors at night 'deserve' to be sexually harassed. Three in four felt women "provoke" men by the way they dress; 56% men thought women should avoid taking up jobs that require them to go out at night; 65% felt women should go out only when they are accompanied by men, and 30% said a woman is raped when she does something to put herself in that situation.
